What is Required Before Receiving Keys?
Pay Your Balance
Check your lease and online portal to see what is owed prior to moving in. Once a payment is made, your balance should appear as $0 on your portal!
Want to make sure you pay rent on time every month? Set up online auto-pay on your portal today!
Set Up Utilities
If your lease requires you to pay utilities, you should bring confirmation numbers to verify you have put them in your name. We cannot provide you with keys until we have confirmation utilities are set up.
If You Have Liability Insurance, Upload it to Foxen
Foxen helps Real Property Management Express make sure you stay covered. If you have your own insurance, you will want to upload it to Foxen to avoid being charged for liability insurance. Remember, the option to upload insurance on your Appfolio portal is not submitting your insurance to Foxen. You could still be charged for our liability insurance if you do not complete the steps correctly.

Where Do I Pick Up My Keys?
You will come to our office on your lease start day to pick up the keys and review the final details with a community manager. You may call ahead to schedule an appointment, or one of our community managers will reach out to schedule a time.

If you are in Sioux Falls and renting a single family home, apartment in a smaller community, duplex, or townhome that is not part of a larger complex, you will most likely meet us here.
Can I Move in Before My Lease Starts?
In some cases. While we strive to get our residents moved in as quickly as possible, we also want to ensure that your future home is perfect for you. That typically means that the available date is exactly the earliest day you can move in.
If your home is ready sooner than anticipated, or your move-in date is after the available date, it may be possible to sign an Early-Entry Addendum to your lease, which would effectively move your lease start date up sooner. The daily rent amount for the additional days added to your lease would be added to your balance for the following month. This is only possible in some circumstances.
